The Account Manager will be responsible for hotel relationship management in a designated assigned area. Responsibilities include:
Acquiring new hotels in designated region. Finding new leads and establish contacts by cold calling. Revenue Management and consulting hotels on maximizing revenue Advising hotels about internet strategies and providing hotels the training to use our system. Marketing our brand name to hotels. Making hotel visits, being responsible for area coverage, being a medium for complaints and problems, handling negotiations and contracts, practicing allotment management, obtaining additional availability and better rates. Identifying seasonal patterns in assigned area and keeping the demand calendar updated. Identifying and participating in networking opportunities and Tourist Trade Fair visits and liaise with Tourism and/or Hotel Associations No relocation is provided.
Requirements:
Qualified candidate must be customer focused, entrepreneurial, be able to work independently and be goal oriented. Must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
Experience Required: At least 1-2 years Hotel industry experience required. 4 year degree or equivalent work experience.
